North Star Digital Association is dedicated to the development and expansion of the D-Star system and access to such in the North Idaho area. Comprising of D-Star compatible Repeater and Simplex Node Hotspot owners.

Along with development and advancement of understanding of various digital modes of communication and experimentation with the various digital modes available to amateur operators.

With recent developments in the D-Star community what was cost prohibiting before has now come into new affordable means of placing D-Star compatible sites into service.
