The (WARN) Weather Amateur Radio Network net provides information to the National Weather Service Regional office located in Spokane WA, and various local authorities. The information is also made available to local media by serving as the “eyes and ears of the National Weather Service.” Our goal is to help protect the people of our coverage area and provide ground truth data to the National Weather Service., on the 146.960 repeater with a PL tone of 123 Hz. Our alternate frequency is 146.500 simplex. Located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Net Meets at 7:00 pm every night except on Sunday at 6:30 pm and following the BARC net on Monday nights. Love to have you check in!
